About the Class
This is an introductory level flamenco dance class for absolute beginners and returning dancers who have taken one or two sessions of Introduction to Flamenco Dance. In this class students will acquire a strong foundation in flamenco dance technique while also exploring elements of flamenco musicality, rhythm, structure, and improvisation. In the Spring we’ll work with the popular por fiesta style Bulerias and continue learning the folk dance Sevillanas.
First class of the session is free! In the first class we will learn and review basic techniques and terminology that we’ll be using during the Spring Session.

*5/21 class meets at 6:15pm for Juan Paredes
